FaxStore offers a wide-range of extensions, some of which are documented on the extensions library page. All extensions unless otherwise documented by the extension developer should be installed in the same manner which this page covers the process of.

How To Install An Extension

Before installing an extension, be sure the extension is from a trusted source. Extensions could contain malicious code which could expose any FaxStore data. If the extension is an encrypted .SHARF file, it has been inspected and verified by Weblutions.

  1. Download the extension file and extract it if needed

  2. Upload the extension to the /faxstore/extensions file location within the FaxStore installation
    For accessing a FaxStore we recommend a program like WinSCP

  3. Configure any configuration files that came with the extension, they should be within a "configs" folder if any are present.

  4. Restart FaxStore via the controller or command line

  5. The extension should appear in the console of FaxStore or within the registered extensions in the staff panel.
