Insights
The Insights page gives merchants a simple way to view store statistics from the Staff Area. It is designed to provide a quick visual overview of store performance through graphs and recorded monthly data.
Located under the Insights tab on the staff page, this area helps track key activity across the store without needing to manually review raw database data.
What Insights Show
Insights currently displays graphs for the following store metrics on a monthly recorded basis with data retains for the lifetime of the store.
Sale count
Shows how many sales were recorded over time.Income
Displays store revenue trends based on recorded purchase activity.File downloads
Tracks how many product downloads have taken place.Customer growth
Shows growth in the number of customers interacting with the store.Account growth
Displays overall account growth across the store.New accounts
Highlights how many new accounts were created during each period.Accounts by login method
Breaks down account registrations by login type, including:Discord
GitHub
Google
Standard Login (username/password)
Why Insights is Useful
The Insights page is intended to make store performance easier to understand at a glance. Rather than reviewing tables or raw records, merchants can use visual graphs to identify trends in sales, customer activity, account creation, and download volume.
This can help with:
spotting growth over time
identifying changes in customer behaviour
comparing activity between months
reviewing login method usage across the store
Future Improvements
There are plans for the Insights feature to be overhauled in the future.
The goal of this future update is to provide a more concise and improved overview of store statistics and analytics, making it easier to understand store performance from a single area.
As FaxStore continues to expand its reporting and analytics features, Insights is expected to become a more refined and central part of store management.
