Welcome to the FaxStore installation and setup guides. This section covers the installation of FaxStore on a self hosted solution. While FaxStore grows and gains more features we aim to make it more accessible in terms of setting up FaxStore and getting it online so merchants can sell.

Before The Installation

To prepare a server for FaxStore to be installed be sure to refer to the prerequisites for all of FaxStore system and software requirements.

Installation Options

FaxStore contains two methods of installation:

Simplified Setup (Recommended), this setup will install content on a server and get a setup page live. This is only recommended for fresh Ubuntu installations.
Step-by-Step Installation, a more tradition installation of all components manually. This is the recommended method if the sever is already established with other software running already.

FaxStore installation guides are focused on Ubuntu based operating system.

Debian and Ubuntu are the recommended operating systems.
